Water, Water Everywhere
Water, water everywhere - a photographic montage of 100 fire hydrant signs.
These fire hydrant markers signs appear everywhere in the UK but largely go unnoticed. It was interesting to find out how many different variations of design there were. The numbers on them relate to the gauge of the pipe and the distance from the sign. I shot each sign separately, making sure that it was the same size and position in camera and, once processed, arranged them into a grid on the page to create an even pattern.
This is a signed archival pigment print on 300gsm matte cotton rag paper. Each print is produced to order. The photograph is supplied without a frame, the pictured frame is for display only. It is available in a number of sizes, if you don't see one listed that you want, please let me know.
